Žaloviče

Žaloviče is located at an altitude of 370m in a dry and partly Karstic valley. The wooded ascents Veliki vrh (592) and Povrhe (419m) steeply descend into Radulja valley. The hamlets Čela in the southern part and Lakote in the northern part are part of the village. South of the village at Čevnice fallow there's a smaller mound cemetery from the old Iron Age. Here they dug the iron ore in the 19th century. The church of St. Ulrich is a modest baroque country succursal with a church bell from the year 1807. The main neo-Roman altar was made in the 19th century as well as both side altars. The statue of St. Katarina was made in the 18th century.
